We must all do our part to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus in our schools. More information Virtual RespectFest Event to Discuss Teen Dating Violence and Prevention Choose Respect Montgomery’s annual event, RespectFest, is going virtual this year. Students and parents are invited to learn about dating violence and prevention, win prizes, take a yoga class, and earn up to five Student Service Learning (SSL) hours. The festival, which runs from April 18-23, is free. There will be workshops and activities for middle and high school students, parents and youth-service providers. Forms for Parents and Students MCPS SPRING 2021: RECOVERY OF EDUCATION On February 9, the Board of Education voted to approve MCPS' 2021 Recovery Plan. Students in specific special education and career and technical education programs will return to buildings on March 1. Students in kindergarten through third grade will begin to return to buildings in phases starting March 15. Families will hear directly from their schools about their specific plans. Please note that the number of students returning to school, staffing and grade-level details will impact the type of experience your child’s school creates.
